The Juno Awards 2006 will be taking place in Halifax this year. This is an extremely exciting time for our city and a wonderful opportunity to showcase our Atlantic Canadian talent to the rest of the Nation!
Junofest is an event that will showcase over 100 local, regional and national acts throughout the city of Halifax. Nightly line-ups will feature 3-4 acts per venue with established and developing artists sharing the spotlight.
Junofest 2006 will be produced by Mike Campbell, and will take place March 31 and April 1 2006. There is no specific application process for this event. Mike and all the folks at CARAS are excited to hear from anyone who would like to be considered for this event. The event will encompass all genres, and anyone can submit for a chance to perform. Please be advised that you must be an original recording artist/group with performance history.
If you wish to submit for Junofest, please send an MP3 and a photo to junofest06@juno-awards.ca . You should receive an automated email letting you know that your submission has been received.
Please be advised that due to a large amount of submissions we cannot guarantee that we can contact unsuccessful artists. Those who are selected should be contacted by February 15th, 2006.
